La la la ley la

une barbiere di qualita! di qualita!

Fiiiiiiiigaro! Figaro Figaro Figaro

Oh what the hell, let’s throw in some Rosina

Una voce poca fa….

A really pretty version:

That saucy minx.

Anyway, for adults interested in trying out opera, I highly recommend the Barber of Seville (Rossini). Yes, it’s in Italian, but it’s extremely funny and has some of the best-known arias ever, most specifically Largo al Factotum, or “the Figaro song”.

This is all you need to know about the Figaro song — Figaro is the title character (yes, a barber) and his song is about how everybody loves him, everybody wants him, and how he’s the most useful person ever. It’s a fun song in an opera chock-full of fun songs.

Another fun song:

You don’t even need to know what the words mean, it’s still funny.
