Happy Thanksgiving!
A LITTLE SUMO WITH A LITTLE GUY
As I’ve mentioned before, I enjoy following sumo. One of my favorite wrestlers right now is Enho, who is comparatively small for the upper level sumo. (There are also some others about the same height, and slight, but Enho has had vigorous technique, and has brought down much bigger guys.)
Below, I review Enho’s matches from the November tournament:
And yes, I love sumo:
WRAPPING UP MOVEMBER: FUNDRAISING FOR PROSTATE CANCER RESEARCH
Since 2017, I have been doing Movember fundraising.
My husband Stuart was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2017. The treatment regimen he’s been on didn’t even exist 10 years ago, and he’s been stable. Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
I support all three of the goals of the Movember Foundation: action on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and improving men’s mental health (and reducing suicide). My post from 2017.
I have a fundraising page on the Movember site and I have a fundraising page on facebook.
Here’s a QR code for the fundraiser:
