The State of the States: A Compilation

Sometimes the built-in blog software features are not enough, and one wants to organize for one’s self.

So here I go.

Below is a list of the states, and I will have a few more items in a separate section (Chicago needs its own entry).

Over time, I will be building up compilation pages for each of the states, linking to all the blog posts I have done making remarks about the financial condition of that state or state’s pensions. I hope to get to all the states in 2017, but make no promises. I’m putting a date stamp of January 2000 on all these posts, because it won’t interfere with the rest of the blog (and one can easily get all those posts by going to the archive for that month.)
